Hi there!
It's been another hectic week. I got lost in the rat race and missed 3 nights of blogging :o( I did get to spend some quality time with a friend whom i rarely get to see tho, so that part is good. It's hard for me to take the time away sometimes, but the bottom line is, people are the most important thing in life. I've heard time and again, the line that at the end of life, you never hear someone say 'i wish i would have worked more hours at my job'... it's always 'i wish i had spent more time with family and/or friends.' So... i took that opportunity this week. Now... it's back to work.
I was listening to another training session this morning, and heard again something like.. you can have all the training in the world, but are you putting it to use?
I find myself really guilty of that. I have kept thinking if i only kept reading, kept listening to webinars, kept searching... i would find 'that perfect thing' that would be 'my ticket' so to speak... it would be the thing that would help me get out of my J.O.B. and into making a living working from home.
At this point, i really do have quite a lot of 'learning' in my head... but how much 'action' am i putting into my business? Are they even equal in time spent? I don't think so. I need to start putting more 'action' in there. I'm kind of back to my blog several days ago about 'Just Do the Work' :o) This next week, that will be my goal. I'll be doing more work, less studying for a change. Is it important to study and learn new things? Absolutely! Just don't lose your focus on the action you need to be taking along the way :o)
Please comment and share your thoughts :o)
To our success,
Terri

Very nice post Terri.
ReplyDeleteLoved the another week as well as the rich entrepreneur one.
I almost gave up on the challenge myself but not because I wasn't up to doing the work but because I have not been getting any feedback.
But then I thought that I wasn't doing this for anyone but myself. It's my business and it's my life.
I am with you. Training and ideas and lessons learned are all great but nothing equals action to accomplish results.
Thanks for the posts. I appreciate you.

Hi Teri::
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, family and friends are the most important. I also understand the study, study study...in search of... process. I'm finding the #blog30 challenge to be just that, a challenge. I found that right around day 10, my enthusiasm and ideas started to diminish. I guess, it's similar to a workout program, you can research all the great exercises and put them on paper, but unless you move your body you won't see any results. We are moving a different kind of muscle...Our business muscle... :)
Good luck with this week!
